Terms of Service

Pick3Pools is software that helps people run World Cup prediction pools. A pool manager creates a pool, invites participants, and each participant picks three teams and scores points based on how far those teams advance. By using Pick3Pools, you agree to these terms.

Pick3Pools provides pool-management software only. We do not operate a betting or gambling service, and we never collect, hold, transfer, or pay out any entry fees or prize money between participants. If a pool has an entry fee, that money is arranged and handled directly between the pool manager and the participants — entirely outside Pick3Pools. The only payment we process is a one-time software setup fee that a pool manager pays us to run their pool.

If you create a pool, you are responsible for how you run it. That includes:

• Collecting any entry fees yourself and deciding how prizes (if any) are handled.
• Making sure your pool is legal where you and your participants live.
• Communicating clearly and fairly with your participants.

Pick3Pools is a tool for organizing your pool. We are not a party to any arrangement between you and your participants, and we are not responsible for fees, prizes, or disputes among pool members.

When you join a pool, you choose your three teams and your picks are final once submitted. Points are awarded according to the scoring shown in the app. Any entry fee is a matter between you and your pool manager, not Pick3Pools.

We aim to keep team odds, points, and results accurate, and to update standings promptly. That said, scoring data, tournament results, and points values are provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors or delays. The pool manager and participants are responsible for resolving any scoring questions within their pool.

Please use Pick3Pools honestly and lawfully. Don't attempt to break, overload, or misuse the service, access other people's data, or use the platform for anything illegal. We may suspend or remove access for misuse.

Pool setup fees are charged through Stripe. If something goes wrong with a setup payment, contact us and we'll work with you in good faith. Because pools are time-sensitive and tied to a live tournament, refunds are handled case by case.

Pick3Pools is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it running well, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

To the extent allowed by law, Pick3Pools is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any entry fees, prizes, or arrangements between pool managers and participants. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the setup fee you paid us.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continuing to use Pick3Pools means you accept the updated terms.
